August 28th- Sip for Sjogren’s –
A Fine Water Tasting Event and Silent Auction
Our Newton Room will house a Bay Area Event “Sip for Sjogren’s – A Fine Water Tasting Event and Silent Auction” on Saturday, August 28th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to help The National Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation raise awareness and support for those afflicted with Sjogren’s (pronounced SHOW-grins) – a serious but under recognized Autoimmune Disease that affects ~ 4 million Americans! … many don’t know they have it! It attacks the body’s moisture producing glands and organs. Visit the Foundation’s website for more information on the disease, which can accompany other Autoimmune Diseases like Rheumatoid Arthritis as well (www.sjogrens.org ).
There will be hors d’oeuvres (St Helena), sparkling wine (Wine Country-of course), original live music (San Francisco), Silent Auction, and more!!!
Please come, learn if you or someone you know might have this common disorder and enjoy a unique event in Wine Tasting Country…Tasting Water from around the world, and participate in our mission at G R A C E …
