Children & Youth
During September and October 2021, our children and youth will meet outdoors during the first part of the 10 am service. Guided by trained and background-checked leaders, our younger members will have time for singing, learning together about God, and prayer, before joining with the adults in the congregation for Holy Communion at 10:50 in the courtyard.
At Grace, our children’s program is built around the belief that children need a place to foster the growth of their unique relationship with God at their own pace. Our Montessori-based formation program, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, uses materials tailored to children’s sizes and developmental stages. Adults often remark on the prayerful, centered environment that they find in the Atrium; it is a space that many families find provides rest and calm in the midst of a hectic week.
Grace Episcopal Church Youth Ministry transforms the lives of youth and equips them with a spiritual foundation by providing a welcoming, Christ-centered environment of prayer, service and fellowship.
