Giving money to God through the church is a spiritual practice. It is part of how we practice “stewardship,” our care of all that God has blessed and entrusted us with. 

 

Christian stewardship grows out of gratitude and is an important element of our relationship with God. Giving to the church is a way to give a portion back to God and say ‘thank you’ for the blessings we receive each day. 

 

We pray to God for guidance in our giving. When the blessings of our life–including money–flow, God’s grace which sustains all of our lives can abound more and more.

 

At Grace Episcopal Church our financial gifts sustain the mission and ministry that sustains us spiritually, and brings light, love, and tangible help to:

 

  •   Maintain and care for our buildings and grounds

  •   Pay our clergy and staff

  •   Cover our operating expenses

  •   Strengthen our ministries

  •   Support our children, youth, and families

  •   Sustain our programs for all in our parish

  •   Extend our outreach into our community and beyond
