What A Send Off!

Dear Grace Family,

Thank you so much for the absolutely perfect, joyful, meaningful farewell party. I admit I was hoping for a special celebration after all these years but I never could have anticipated the love and appreciation I felt that day. Brian’s incredible video was a huge surprise, and it told a true and important story while honoring my personal gifts in it. The tangible gifts of seeds from our very own garden (can’t wait to have a spinner gourd patch in Ohio!) and the practicality of gift cards to spend on our new home were definitely right up my alley as a person who isn’t a big fan of “stuff”. And the personalized photo from CGS children and collage of mission trip photos will find a special place in our new life and help us always keep close the many memories and people we treasure here.

I’m going to try to get better at Facebook and will certainly also send updates via Amy to share with you all. You can stay in touch with us; we land in our new home August 1.
