“Little children, let us not love with words or with tongues, but with action and in truth” – 1 John 3:18

“Feed the hungry, and help those in need. Then your light will shine out from darkness and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”Isaiah 58:10

These passages from scripture have been the guiding light for those of us in the Meals Ministry. We get so much more from preparing a meal and taking it to someone who is housebound than one can imagine. While there are several meal preparers we always have need for more. If you are interested, please contact Kathleen Patterson at kathleen07comcast.net and she will tell you how it works.

Now that is ½ of the ministry. The other half is you and your willingness to let us help out. Believe me, while you may be very grateful for a meal, it means more to us to make one. Sometimes we are shy about asking for help, but please let us. If you are housebound for any reason, let us know. Again, contact me or ask Helen or Amy at church. If someone knows of someone who might be reluctant to call, let me know and I can make a personal invitation.
