It may sound strange, but moving out of homelessness into housing can be a daunting process. People experiencing homelessness have typically been through multiple traumas in their lives, so that major life changes and new responsibilities, like moving into housing, can feel overwhelming. We have found that helping people feel welcome in their new spaces with some basic supplies can help ease the transition, and it also shows people that our community cares about them. These are kits you can assemble and wrap up or contain any way you like, or even just give us the contents to deliver to our participants who are making a home after living unsheltered. If you, or your Grace Small Group is interested in helping by assembling one or more of the various donation kits, please contact Kerry Brack at [email protected].

Assembled kits can be dropped off at Grace’s office during office hours and must be delivered by July 10th! You can also sign up to donate specific items for kit assembly HERE.
